The ‘black’ is Carbon that is released in the burning process. That will
happen with anything you burn regardless of if it is soy, wood, paraffin or
otherwise.. It’s a byproduct of the burning process.

Wow people are so rude and disrespectful, it’s kind of embarrassing to see
so many “adults” acting like children. If you don’t like the video, just
leave, why leave a hate and nasty comment?? How rude, people please grow
up, and respect one another. By the way I burn soy candles because I hate
the black soot on the jars and with the soy candles I don’t get that
horrible black stuff which is not attractive at all.

It’s made from the oil after pressing the soy beans, not from grinding or
    blending the soy.

I buy mine from BitterCreek Candle Supply. They are online. I am really
happy with their service and prices.

This doesn’t really show how to make the candles at all, it’s just a lady
with a already made candle with anti-paraffin comments.. a bit
disappointing since I wanted to see the whole process of actually making
the candles step-by-step. I don’t plan on sticking my finger into the fire
    or wax?

  • Craig Dirty .Dority says:

Have you been eating the candles too?
